Coaches

Coach smarter. Build a record that follows you.

Practice plans built from your own players' assessments. Skill tracking that compounds season on season. A public profile built from real community reviews.

Coaches spend Sunday night building a practice from scratch, guessing at what their players need. They lose players to other programs because nobody outside the gym knew how good the coaching was. Sportoriety fixes both.

From Sunday night prep to game day.

Tools for coaches who take the craft seriously, rather than general sports software with a coach label on it.

Player assessments

Twelve to fifteen skill dimensions per player, across ball handling, shooting, defense, reading the game and the things that do not show up in a stat line. Private between you and the family, and it builds over time.

Practice plans

Give it the length of the session and what you want to work on, and get an ordered plan back: drills, minutes, and a line on why each block is in there. Edit it, run it, and record what actually happened.

Team summary

Every skill across your whole roster, with the middle and the spread. Where the team is strong, where it is thin, and which players sit at either end.

Accolades

Name the effort, the improvement and the attitude the scoreboard never shows, so a player's record reflects how they got better.

From first assessment to season end

  1. 1

    Create your coach profile

Your sport, your experience, your club. Parents can find you and follow what you write from the first day.

  2. 2

    Build your roster

Create your team and invite players. Parents create the profiles and approve the connection. Every player's record already exists; you are joining it, not retyping it.

  3. 3

    Assess your players

Score each player across the sport's skill dimensions. Five to ten minutes each, private to you and the family, and everything downstream runs on it.

  4. 4

    Build the practice

Ask for a session and get an ordered plan back, sized to the time you have and weighted towards what you said you wanted to work on. It arrives as a draft, because you are the one who knows the gym.

  5. 5

Run it and record what happened

The runner keeps the clocks. When the session ends it writes down what each block actually took and what you skipped, so the next plan is built on the real thing.

  6. 6

Your record grows on its own

After every event, parents and players leave reviews on your profile. The more you coach here and the better you do it, the more there is to show for it.

Recognize the work the scoreboard never shows.

Effort, improvement and attitude are what you actually coach. Accolades let you name them, so a player's record reflects how they got better and not only how they scored.

These examples are invented. The names, the moments and the wording were written for this page. They are not real accolades, not edited or anonymized versions of real accolades, and not based on any player or team on Sportoriety. If a real accolade ever resembles one of these, it is coincidence.

Hardest Worker

Rosalind

First on the floor and last off it, every single session. Her conditioning improved because she chose the extra reps, not because anyone made her.

Most Improved

Caspian

Could not finish with his left hand when he started. Now he does it without being told.

Best Practice Attitude

Neve

Took a hard coaching point in front of the whole group, said got it, and applied it on the very next rep.

Clutch Performer

Thaddeus

Down two with the clock under a minute, he asked for the ball. He missed, and asked for it again the next time down.
