Frequently asked questions
Account and login
- Use the forgot password link on the login page and we will email you a reset link. If that email does not arrive within a few minutes, check the spam folder first. If the address on the account is one you no longer use, email us and a person will sort it out with you.
- Both live in your account settings once you are signed in. Changing the email address changes where every future message goes, including receipts and review invitations.
- We ask again whenever the published terms change. You keep your account and your data either way. Nothing is deleted if you take time to read them first.
- No. One account can hold more than one role, and the platform shows you the screens for each. If a role you expect is missing, the organization that grants it has to add you.
Tournament registration
- Find the tournament under Tournaments, choose your team and division, and pay. Registration is done by a coach or a club director rather than by a parent, because the team is what enters.
- The page tells you when the hold expires. If it lapses before you pay, the spot goes back to the tournament and you can select it again if it is still open.
- Each tournament sets its own refund policy, and you accept that policy before you pay. Refunds are issued by the tournament director, so ask them first. If you cannot reach them, email us and we will help you find the right person.
- Some tournaments run a waitlist and will say so on the registration page. If one is offered, joining it costs nothing and you are only asked to pay if a place opens.
Player profiles
- Coaches and club staff on your child's team see a first name and a last initial. Public pages carry neither a surname nor a date of birth. A parent in the same club sees only what the club chooses to share.
- Add them from your account once you are signed in. You are recorded as their guardian, and that guardianship is what lets you register them, pay for them and read their record.
- Email us. This is one we settle with a person rather than a form, because undoing a guardianship affects who can see a child's record and we check before changing it.
- The profile stays with you, not with the club. Their place on that roster ends, and the club stops seeing what a roster spot let them see.
Reviews
- After the event, using the link we email to the address on the registration. The link is personal to you, so do not forward it.
- Reviews are checked before they publish. Yours is not lost and you can still see it from your own account while it waits.
- Yes. Open it from your account and save your changes. An edited review goes through the same check as a new one.
- Tell us what is wrong with it and we will read it. We do not remove a review for being negative, and we do remove ones that name a child or that are not about an event the writer attended.
Billing
- It is what Sportoriety charges to run the registration, and it is shown to you before you pay rather than added afterwards. Some clubs cover it themselves, in which case you never see it.
- That is the club's decision, and clubs that offer a sibling discount have it applied automatically at checkout. The discount is shown on its own line so you can see what came off.
- Email us with the date and the last four digits of the card. Do not send the full card number. A payment that went through without a registration attached is something we can find and fix.
- Organizations pay for a plan, and the plans and what each includes are listed on the pricing page. Money from registrations goes to the organization's own payment account, not to us.
