SMS Notification Opt-In — How It Works
Sportoriety users can optionally receive transactional text messages. Opt-in occurs inside the user’s authenticated account, on the Notification Settings screen. This page shows the exact consent experience for verification.

The consent checkbox is unchecked by default; the user must actively check it. After submitting, the number is verified via a one-time confirmation code before any messages are sent. Opt out anytime by replying STOP or removing the number in settings.
